Changing your lifestyle from one of sedentary living to one that regularly includes some form exercise as an adult with a busy schedule is challenging. Life never lets up and there is always another task to accomplish. If you let it your life my just pass you by without ever knowing how good you can feel and how well your body can function. Now there's no perfect method for everyone. There's no magic pill that can be taken. However, what we do know is that if you do nothing then nothing changes.
So instead of researching for the next month while you come up with the perfect exercise plan or nutrition plan make small changes that make sense. Go for a hike. Take the stairs at work during part of your lunch break. Take your dog for an extra long walk around the park. Literally, just start doing something. The only time you are failing at exercise is when you aren't doing it. In fact some little act of getting the body in motion is so much better than choosing to be stymied by the potential possibilities of what the right and wrong things to do are. Instead of majoring in the minors major in the majors. The most important part about exercise is that you actually do it. Sitting around thinking about it, while well intentioned doesn't move the needle for your well being.

So if you haven't done any exercise in awhile the time is now. Ready..............fire.....AIM. You can get fancy about what you are doing once you're moving. However, coming up with a quadrennial is not necessary in order to move the needle on your health. You can just move the needle by doing very simple things. You don't need a doctorate in Kinesiology to exercise. All you need is the right reason to get going. If cutting all your health risks in half isn't enough to get moving nothing will ever be.
